Sam Brown 

Sam is an experienced, energetic and enthusiastic leader in service improvement and change management and has worked in the public sector for over 20 years. She has gained experience in variety of service redesign and managerial positions across sectors both at strategic and operational levels.

This span of experience includes leading and supporting public sector boards and international commercial organisations with the development, implementation and delivery of strategies, organisational development, business planning and bid development.

Sam has worked at strategic health authority level to support the delivery of the regional NHS strategic vision, specialising in elective care and recently been supporting the Quality, Innovation, Productivity and Prevention (QIPP) agenda.

Sam has been involved with directly implementing national policy and programmes of work across the public sector and has been selected to join central government teams in developing cross sector information sharing policy and for national procurement initiatives.

Educated to Masters of Business Administration (MBA) degree level, a qualified General Practice Practice Manager Sam is also an accomplished, experienced and qualified project and programme manager, with hands on experience in writing successful business cases, bids and proposals.

When not working Sam enjoys the summer months sailing on the Norfolk Broads and the west coast of Scotland, the winter months dreaming of being a better skier and the rest of her time with family, friends and maintaining her classic wooden yacht!
