Chris Rowland

Chris is widely experienced working with and within the public sector, both delivering leadership and outcomes within organisations, as well as working in other organisations providing support to effectively manage change and deliver improved results. He feels passionate about the need to improve outcomes for disadvantaged people and communities through closer collaboration between organisations, a better understanding of the socio-economic and political environment, and a revised approach to traditional ideas about leadership, management, and change. His experience spans health, social care, and third sector services; local and regional working; and both operational management and improvement support. Chris is an excellent communicator, skilled in organisational and group facilitation, event and network management, and has the ability to work across organisations, and at all levels within them. Chris has a strong academic record, including a first class degree from Cambridge, and further professional and management qualifications, including qualifying registration in psychoanalytic therapy. This enables him to offer clear, analytical, and systemic advice and support to organisations and local systems; both with a strategic focus, and with a clear view of what is needed for effective implementation.
