Delivering real change in the real lives of real people
Enable East is an exciting new NHS team aimed at supporting local NHS and other public sector organisations to actually make improvements happen.
We understand there is an almost relentless demand for public sector organisations to deliver new services, improvements and benefits to local people, and all whilst the NHS undergoes the biggest shake-up in its history .
The growing financial pressures on the NHS, for example, require a whole range of improvements to be delivered including increased quality, productivity, new innovations and an emphasis on prevention.
We believe that it is the actual delivery of tangible benefits in local services that is the toughest challenge. Whilst numerous initiatives feed the ever growing list of what needs to be done, the public sector needs to ensure these things are actually delivered and become sustainable - all of course while maintaining high standards of day-to-day service delivery.
Enable East is entirely focused on outcomes. Our main concern is delivery.
We know that programme and project delivery is often highly variable and does not reflect best practice tools and techniques. Too many projects and programmes are failing to deliver the benefits that they intended.
Enable East is different. We have:
- Credible experience of public sector, health and social care systems. The diverse backgrounds in our team include experience in management and professional roles in strategic and operational organisations
- Knowledge of a broad range of tools and techniques in change management and stakeholder engagement
- An approach grounded in the principles of effective project and programme delivery
Our overall aim is to work with organisations where we are sure we can add value. We want to help you to build effective, sustainable long term solutions developing your own expertise and experience.
'Our success is your success'
Enable East comes out of the former Eastern Development Centre, one of the largest and most established providers of project and programme management support to the NHS and social care regionally.
We are not profit-making and we operate from an NHS platform. We are part of North Essex Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, working in partnership with the University of Essex.
Operating within the NHS means we can seek to offer best possible value to fellow public sector organisations and a credible alternative to expensive private sector management consultancies and training organisations.
